Grow With Us: Ministries for the Whole Family
At the First Church of God, we are passionate about reaching families with the life-changing message of the Gospel. We believe church is more than just a Sunday gathering; it's a community where individuals and families can connect, grow in their faith, and find meaningful ways to serve. We offer a variety of engaging ministries designed to nurture spiritual growth for every age and stage of life.
Weekly Opportunities for Connection and Worship:
Join us each Sunday for times of fellowship, learning, and inspiring Christian worship music:
- 8:00 A.M. Bible Study: Dive deeper into scripture with engaging discussions. This Bible study offers valuable insights and opportunities for spiritual formation.
- Sunday School: 9:15 A.M. We offer captivating studies for adults. It's a fantastic time for learning and building relationships within our faith community.
- Sunday Service: 10:30 A.M. Experience uplifting worship services with powerful biblical teaching and heartfelt Christian worship music in a welcoming family-friendly church atmosphere. Our Sunday service is the cornerstone of our week, a time for connection with God and one another. For those who cannot join us in person,
we also provide online church services, bringing our worship services to you wherever you are.
Engaging Children's Ministry at First Church of God
Nurturing Faith from the Start: We believe in the power of early spiritual development.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
This verse guides our commitment to train up children in God's way.
We are a family-friendly church committed to providing a safe, spiritual, and nurturing environment for children.
Sunday Mornings:
- Nursery (Infant): Available during our 10:30 AM worship services in the Christian Education Wing, Room 201.
- Toddler Room: Also available during our 10:30 AM worship services in the Christian Education Wing, Room 203.
- Children's Lesson: During the 10:30 AM service, all children are invited to the front for a short, engaging Bible lesson before being dismissed back to their parents or guardians.
- Junior Church (Nursery - High School): Following the Children's Lesson, we offer age-specific programs in the lower level of the education wing (Rooms 204, 206, 209, and 210). Our dedicated leaders create a fun and interactive environment for learning and spiritual growth.
Prompt Pick-Up: We kindly request that children are picked up promptly at the conclusion of the morning worship service.
